Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, has given it some more recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a career or hobby but for growth. So she started her own compositions. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. In response to her mother's suggestion that people should not be aiming at achieving fame through her songwriting, but instead recognize the significance of their lives and the impact they have on society. She began playing the piano at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she told her parents. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora claims she loves creating songs. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
